Joselito II De Los Angeles
Founder & Musical Director
Joselito is a pianist, composer and arranger based in Edmonton, Alberta. After studying classical for 10 years, he decided to enrol in MacEwan University's Bachelor of Music in Jazz and Contemporary Pop. Joselito has played in different venues across Western Canada including the RBC Convention Centre, and Queen Elizabeth Theatre . Most notably, he's also played with names such as Vice Ganda, Hatsune Miku (VocaParty), and The Edmonton Pops Orchestra.
Shea Iles - Guitar
Shea Iles started playing music at the age of 10 in Grande Prairie, starting on drums and moving into guitar and vocals. His wide range of styles include singer/songwriter, rock, pop, and jazz.
He recently just returned from England and spent the last several months honing his craft. He is majoring in Composition at Grant MacEwan University to build his career in jazz, contemporary, and film score composition.
Sean Croal - Upright & Electric Bassist
Sean Croal is an upright and electric bass player born in St. Albert, Alberta. At a young age, Sean moved to to Doha, Qatar in the Middle East. Sean picked up the bass shortly after, studying under Qatar Phillharmonic bass player, Matteo Gaspari. A brief brush up with bone cancer in 2012 encouraged Sean to move back to Alberta. After a full recovery (and a new knee!) Sean continued on to study with legendary Alberta bass player Rubim De Toledo.
Sean is currently taking jazz performance on the upright bass at MacEwan University, and hopes to play his part to grow and develop the Canadian music community.
Sean is also returning from Finland, where he spent 5 months in Helsinki practicing and performing for the local musical scene there.
Skyler Benoit-Jones - Drums & Electronic Pad
Skyler has been playing drums and performing on stages for over a decade.
He has a Diploma from Grant MacEwan University with a major in performance and drums as his principal instrument. He works as a Rock, Pop, and Jazz drummer in the city of Edmonton, Alberta. Skyler Plays a hybrid setup using acoustic drums as well as electronic allowing maximum versatility in all genres, especially pop for danceable music!
Although he also enjoys playing for weddings, he is constantly touring around Alberta playing for shows and festivals and has even opened up for Coleman Hell.
