Christina Barry - Violin
Christina Barry is a violinist based in Edmonton, Alberta. A graduate of the University of Western Ontario, Christina has performed in orchestras including the National Youth Orchestra of Canada, the International Symphony Orchestra in Sarnia, and the Festival Symphony Orchestra touring across Canada, the US, and China. Christina has most recently toured France as a soloist performing unaccompanied Bach in medieval churches across the french countryside. Christina also plays in pit orchestras for musical theatre and opera productions, most notably the Toronto Summer Opera Festival. Christina has played as a fiddler for the River Junction band, enjoys guest performing with Celtic and bluegrass groups, and fiddling for her traditional Irish dance club. Christina enjoys teaching in Edmonton throughout the year, and participates in dancing and hiking with her dog Bella.
Aemilia Moser - Violin
Aemilia Moser has been studying violin privately since the age of 6 with Mr. James Keene and has been singing classically since 2007. In 2016 Aemilia won “Best Female Vocalist” for her role as “Maureen Johnson” in the musical RENT at the Edmonton Cappies Awards. A year earlier she won the Kiwanis Music Festival Provincial final for violin solo age 16 and under. Aemilia has also been a member of both the Edmonton Youth Orchestra and the Edmonton Youth Choirs. In 2014 she helped win two gold medals at the “World Choir Games” in Riga, Latvia. Ms. Moser currently attends the University of Alberta where she studies violin with Robert Uchida and classical voice with Elizabeth Turnbull.
Ehrentraud Moser - Viola
Ehren Moser is a young aspiring artist from Edmonton with a broad range of interests. She has studied the violin since the age of four, has been a long time member of the Edmonton Youth and Children's Choirs and presently is co-concertmaster of the Senior Edmonton Youth Orchestra. Ehren also plays the piano, has composed several musical works of her own and spends some of her spare time drawing and painting.
Joe Mueller - Cello
Joe Mueller is an experienced cellist that has been playing for over 14 years. Although his background is largely classical, he is now attending MacEwan University with a major in electric bass. A repeated 1st place winner, at the Kiwanis festival and has achieved honours with distiction for his previous RCM exams. He is currently now preparing for his grade 10 RCM examination! A cellist at heart, Joe hopes to continue practicing other instruments like piano, guitar, and bass on the side.
